Anatoli Panagonov - Biography

Anatoli Panagonov was born in the town of Turgovishte on 14.09.1966. and he is currently living in Varna. He has been painting since a very young age, but after he turned 25, he completely devoted his life on landscape painting - strongly influenced by his Russian descent and the unique Russian School of Art, mainly following the technique of Polenov, Shishkin, Levitan.

Mastering this remarkable skill set, his paintbrush created an artwork that strongly expressed his extraordinary talent to reproduce the beauty of the Bulgarian nature. Without any academic bias, this naturally-gifted painter is recognized by a number of art galleries and collectors. After a number of personal and collective exhibitions, his paintings have been acquired by a large number of private art galleries in Bulgaria, as well as in private collections abroad.
